So, here comes the huge catch up post I promised you! August-September highlights...Stella was baptized in a beautiful ceremony and we held a reception at home, family and friends from all over attended. It was truly a joyous day, and we are so appreciative of everyone who could join us to celebrate.
Before I knew it I was back to work, and back on a plane again. It was hard to leave Stella for the first time, but I knew she was in great hands. October was full of fun. We took Stella to her first pumpkin patch! Unfortunately October in South Louisiana means it's 90 degrees on the one Sunday you pick to go take pumpkin pictures...Stella was less than thrilled to be dressed up and forced to take pictures in the late afternoon heat. She was still pretty cute though if I do say so myself!
I had our Halloween cards made through Shutterfly and I just love the way they turned out!
The weekend before Halloween, we dressed up our little candy corn in a precious dress made by a friend (I know, isn't she talented?!) and celebrated Stella's 4 month birthday with lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.
From there we headed to her 4 month photo shoot! I am so glad we signed up for the "Growing Up" package, which included Newborn, 4 month, 8 month and 1 Year photo shoots. It is going by so quickly and she is changing so much, it is really fun to capture these precious milestones. I absolutely cannot wait to see the pictures, they are sure to be just amazing after the beautiful newborn photos she took!
I brought Stella in a Feltman Brothers baby pink slip and gown, with sweet monogrammed Bella Bliss bloomers, Ralph Lauren leather ballerina shoes, and this gorgeous headpiece by The Sweetest Things Bowtique on Etsy. Isn't it divine?
She also wore an absolutely precious set from The Beaufort Bonnet Company -
much, much more to come on that soon!
On Halloween Day, Stella started and ended her day in one of our favorite brands, MudPie. Their things are seriously the cutest. :)
My Halloween Princess with the pink and gold sparkly monogrammed pumpkin I painted for her!
It's all flying by, and she is looking more and more like a little tiny "big girl" each and every day. I promise this isn't going to turn into a full-time baby blog, but I appreciate you all understanding what a happy time this is in our lives! She makes each day so full of laughter and sunshine, and we just couldn't be more blessed.
(First jean skirt....and last mini skirt if her Daddy has anything to say about it - ha!)
Hope you enjoyed the little re-cap....I have some fun fashion things to share with you soon, some holiday goodies, awesome recipes, and some amazing giveaways coming up. :)
As always, thank you for reading, and thank you for your comments, they make my day!
Lots of love
